This slide presentation outlines the Residential HET Program used by the City of Redwood City, California. The program involved a toilet giveaway program in September 2004, and topics outlined include: two giveaway events; direct install program; program costs and savings; and, customer satisfaction surveys. Lessons learned included: Direct Installation Programs are cost effective;Pressure Assist Toilets can be used in residentialsingle-family and multi-family settings successfully;Flushing Demonstration units sell new technology; and,UNAR Standards ensure customer satisfaction withflushing performance and ensure sustainable savings.
