Full Description

The benefits of applying the design of experiment (DOE) approach are discussed in this paper. A case study, utilizing the factorial statistical experimental design for screening factors and response surface methodology for establishing dose-response, is presented. The DOE method for practical application in drinking water study is introduced; however, the paper does not discuss the details of DOE fundamentals, designs, and analysis.
