This Practice provides the manufacturer and the contracted installer of blast resistant doors and frames with a specification for designing, manufacturing, and installing blast resistant doors and frames to be used in process industry facilities. It describes the requirements for all material, fabrication, finishes, delivery, and installation of blast resistant doors and frames. Requirements for finish painting are not provided in this Practice.
