By this action, this document will remain listed in the Numerical Section of the Index of Aerospace Material Specifications indicating that it has been CANCELLED.This specification covers a colored but unpigmented baking varnish based on a phenolic resin.This varnish has been used typically as a corrosion-preventive coating on interior parts of aircraft engines, but usage is not limited to such applications.
