Water takes energy, and energy takes water. Water and energy's interconnectedness -- called the water-energy nexus -- is gaining in awareness as a proposed ASHRAE standard is being finalized. ASHRAE Members Fred Betz and Michael Webber and ASHRAE Associate Member Calina Ferraro discuss what can be done to address the water-energy nexus' vulnerabilities and the best uses of water.
