Full Description

One ice rink in Sweden reduced its energy use by 50% to 60% after replacing its old indirect refrigeration system with a direct 100% CO₂ system combined with a heat pump function. These and results from other CO₂ installations may signal a change in how ice rinks will be cooled and heated.
