Thoughtful engineers examine part-loadcondition, as well as peak loads when they design systems. This articleexamines the use of low-load chillers used during low-load conditions. It comparesenergy use of a system from 1999 with a system using a low-load chiller. And,it compares a commonly used 2016 design to three energy-saving options.
