Lubricants are an essential component to effective operation of airconditioning and refrigeration compressors which are exhaustivelystudied by compressor engineers and tribology experts. But there areother aspects to lubrication effects beyond the compressor which can alsobe key to effective operation and performance of air conditioning andrefrigeration systems. This seminar presents examples of how thelubricant circulated from the compressor into the system can affectsystem components, oil management and overall system performancewith existing and alternate refrigerants.
