Data centers take most of the limelight in waterside economizer applications due to their ever-increasing loads and new ASHRAE thermal guidelines. But, the application of these systems in other industries is also showing promise. Using waterside economizers at dairies is explored here, with guidance on various design and control considerations for optimal performance and field data from one installation.
