Full Description

This article features lessons learned from the $7.5 million renovation and expansion of ASHRAE headquarters in 2007-08. A primary achievement of the renovation was the creation of a living lab for research by the Society and its members. The intent is to provide data on long-term performance of different types of systems, and possibly link to other, similar high-performing buildings.
