This article discusses the role that pre-functional testing (PFT) plays in keeping the technical commissioning process on track. PFT refers to the various verifications and tests the commissioning authority (CxA) oversees to ensure that every piece of equipment and every system in a building is installed correctly and can start up and run properly.
