Full Description

Because the Ramona Apartments can't rely on tenant behavior for saving energy, the designers created an exceptionally airtight and thermally efficient building envelope. This included laying out the building in a U shape and choosing the right combination of windows and walls. The result is a multifamily building that uses only 20 kBtu/ft.
