A General Services Administration office building in Seattle achieved 40% energy cost savings compared to the Standard 90.1-2007 baseline. The cover article shows how the building reached the top 1% of energy-efficient office buildings in the United States using a combination of a guaranteed performance-oriented contract and an integrated design approach.
