Dan cautions that the lack of validation of the equations and constants used in complex calculations for acoustics, energy savings and motion may generate unrealistic conclusions. For this reason, it is essential that these calculations be validated. Failure to do so may result in more expensive designs that fail to show the energy savings that engineers once touted during the design phase.
