Describes various applications of CO₂ concentrations for evaluating building indoor air quality (IAQ) and the factors that need to be considered in their use. Notes the use of CO₂ concentrations to indicate the acceptability of a space in terms of human body odour and to estimate building air change rates and percent outdoor air intake at a air handler. Describes the factors that must be considered when using indoor CO₂ concentrations in these ways.
