Presents the results of the development of standardised in-situ testing methods for fans and pumps. States the methods have been specifically developed to evaluate improvements in operational energy-use characteristics, ie electrical demand and annual energy consumption. States the methods provide a testing and calculation framework to properly consider the pre- and post-retrofit electrical characteristics of fans and pumps in installed systems.
