Presents the results of the development of standardised in-situ testing methods for chillers. States the methods have been specifically developed to evaluate improvements in operational energy use characteristics. such as electrical demand and annual energy consumption. States the methods described provide a testing and calculation framework to properly consider the pre- and post- retrofit electrical characteristics of chillers in installed systems.
