This standard was written to establish methods of temperature measurement that provide consistent procedures that may be referenced in other ASHRAE standards.
In this revision the principal change is the inclusion of methods of measurement of transient temperature conditions.
This standard is a revision of and replaces ASHRAE Standard 41.1-1974.
