This paper summarises Dr. Ralph Nevins` career as director of the ASHRAE Environmental Laboratory, Kansas State University. The author mentions personal remembrances and reports on some interesting highlights of Dr. Nevins` work at the laboratory. Live interviews with Dr. Nevins from the late 1960s and early 1970s have been transcribed for this paper.
