Full Description

This paper is based on a study of heat pump service life and compressor longevity in a seven-state region of the United States. Heat pump owners were surveyed for the purpose of collecting information of heat pump life and compressor life. A total of 2184 heat pumps were included in the survey. The total system life and compressor replacement results are presented.
