Full Description

This paper provides an overview of methods for the control of gaseous contaminants, with emphasis on adsorption and catalytic oxidation. The four basic methods --ventilation and dilution, wet scrubbers, sOrbents, and combustion--are discussed. The different types of sorbents and adsorption mechanisms are described. In~ dustrial applications and typical control systems are detailed.
