Full Description

Describes a simple analytical technique developed to predict the transfer of heat in a snow-melting slab. The aim is to provide a simple design tool while retaining sufficient accuracy. The model is intended to enrich the rules given by ASHRAE guidelines, which apply for limited design range, using metal pipes.
