Full Description
ASHRAE Research Project 515 was to measure the dynamic heat transmission of walls. This was done by a guarded hot box facility which conforms to ASTM C236 and which will measure the heat transfer through a large test area (2.44m square). The guarded hot box facility was dynamically calibrated by a method developed from first principles and tested on a specimen of known thermal properties.
