Full Description

Kaiser Permanente commissioned a design template, from scheme design up to design development phase that would be flexible and adaptable to the specific needs of each of their new California hospitals. The template hospital and central utility plant designs were reviewed continuously by mechanical peer reviewers, design-assist contractors, and KPs project managers and facility representatives. Using the templates has resulted in shorter permit times and lower construction escalation costs.
