Full Description

A ventilation model for growing and finishing pigs in confinement structures is proposed. The analysis extends previous researcher's models to cover summer conditions in a temperate climate. A range of optimal air velocities in the occupied zone of swine structures is suggested, based on the summer model and on swine performance data.
