This paper reviews the life-cycle cost analytical approach for variable-speed pumping to airside coils. The effects of various system and economic parameters on cost effectiveness of variable-speed pumping are illustrated and discussed. Economic results are presented for all states, as grouped in regions by the Department of Energy.
