Full Description

A study on the heat transfer, pressure drop, and mass leakage losses within a reversing valve was conducted. Measurementsw ere taken on several different types of reversing valves to provide necessary data for the calculation of these losses. Comparisonasr e madet hrough the definition of characterizing parameters based on first principles. These parameters describe heat transfer, pressure drop, and rnass leakage within a reversing valve. The objective of these parameters is to compare the performance of different types of reversing valves and their heat transfer characteristics.
