1.1This test method covers the evaluation of the weight-loss (mass loss) characteristics of sheet steel in sulfuric acid solution.

1.2This test method provides means of rating the effectiveness of in-plant pretreatment acid solutions in preparing steel surfaces for porcelain enameling.
