Specifies the performance requirements for materials and construction of suits to afford protection to the wearer against general chemicals or specific chemical where either sustained protection is required in the event of a spillage, or where the chemical(s) are of a highly toxic or volatile nature. Requirements for gastight, ventilated and splash suits are included.
